Police have said a woman arrested on suspicion of drink driving after her car ploughed into an Ashton shop has been released pending further investigation.
The shop on Canterbury Street was completely demolished in Thursday evening's collision, with the roads around the scene remaining closed and diversions in place.
Miraculously, the woman walked away from the scene and nobody was injured in the incident.
It prompted a major emergency service response and some surrounding homes had to be evacuated.
