Police carried out an arrest after executing two drugs warrants in Audenshaw on Friday morning (14 August).
Officers from Greater Manchester Police's Tameside South team said information given to them by local people was "central to the success of this operation" and thanked those who came forward.
Police say they are now working to "develop the evidence that will help to convict those responsible for drug crime in this area".
No further details about the arrest or where the warrants were executed have yet to be disclosed by police.
They added in a statement: "We would like to thank everyone who contributed and reassure you that we will continue to work with you to make Audenshaw a safer place to live, work and grow up in."
