Romiley Little Theatre is staging Around The World in 80 Days at Hyde's Festival Theatre this week.
In this new adaptation by Toby Hulse, the action follows the mysterious and fabulously wealthy Phileas Fogg as he wagers his life’s fortune on an epic global flight.
This fast-paced version of the ultimate globetrotter’s tale will transport you into the far-flung realms of the imagination. It’s an irresistible round-the-world romp, packed with mayhem and inventive storytelling, guaranteed to raise a smile.
If you have seen productions of The 39 Steps, The Hound of the Baskervilles or The Invisible Man you’ll know to expect hilarious characterisations, inspired set-pieces plus one or two surprises along the way.
The show plays at the theatre these next three nights (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) starting at 7.30pm.
Tickets are available from www.hydefestivaltheatre.org.uk.
