Appeal to find Tameside man's next of kin

Police are appealing for the public's help to trace family of a man from Tameside.

Thomas Simpson, 77, was sadly found dead at his home at Fairthorne Grange on Bennett Street in Ashton on Friday 13 May.

Greater Manchester Police say there are believed to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

He is believed to have a brother that is located in Scotland but no further details are known.

Anyone with information about Thomas's next of kin should contact the Police Coroner’s Office in Stockport on 0161 856 7764.
