Plans to convert the former Tameside Reporter building in Stalybridge into flats have re-emerged.
The plan to convert the former offices at Park House, Acres Lane, which have been vacant since the Reporter moved its offices to Ashton in 2015, proposes converting the building into 12 one bedroom flats in all.
The application has been made by Cheshire Properties Ltd, who are based in Stalybridge. Six bedrooms would be placed on each of the building's two storeys, although the application states that 27 parking spaces would be needed.
Approval for a change of use from offices to apartments has been lodged with Tameside Council. You can view the plans on the council website.
