The Ashton branch of the Yorkshire Building Society will be closed on Christmas Eve this year.
Customers who would normally use the Old Street branch are being asked to plan ahead.
The society is rewarding its staff and gives them an extra day off as a way of saying thank you for the challenges they have faced over the last two years.
The society’s call centres will also be closed on Christmas Eve, with the Ashton branch reopening on Wednesday 29 December.
