Community fundraiser Angela Wild has finally been able to collect her 'Amazing Ashton' Award.
Angie (pictured), who is Community Mental Health Development Worker and Fundraiser for the Ashton-based Anthony Seddon Fund, was awarded the trophy for her fundraising efforts.
Over the past 11 years, Angie has helped to raise an amazing £135,000 for local charities.
The Amazing Ashton Awards, organised by the Ladysmith Shopping Centre, honour those in the community who have gone above and beyond.
They were held last November by Zoom, with no community awards ceremony possible due to the pandemic.
Therefore it has taken a little time for Angie to actually be able to receive her award, but thanks to the Ladysmith she collected her trophy last week.
“I’d like to thanks everyone who voted for me, it really means a lot,” said Angie.
