Tameside shoppers will have the chance to meet one of Britain's best-loved TV chefs later this month as Ainsley Harriott heads to the Morrisons store in Denton.
The popular television personality will visit the store on Thursday, August 20th, where he will be meeting customers, sharing recipe ideas, and handing out free samples as part of his five-day 'Where's Ainsley?' supermarket tour.
Ainsley is due to appear at the Denton store between 10.30am and 12.30pm, with shoppers able to chat with the celebrity chef, sample his couscous range, and even win prizes.
One lucky customer at the store will receive a £100 Morrisons voucher, while additional Ainsley Foods goody bags will also be given away throughout the day. A sampling team will be on site for the duration of the event.
The Denton stop is one of just two Greater Manchester appearances on the tour, with Ainsley also visiting the Morrisons store in Bredbury later the same afternoon.
As well as meeting shoppers, Ainsley Foods Company will donate £3,000 worth of food to charities supported by Morrisons across Greater Manchester, helping community organisations in the region.
The wider tour will see Ainsley visit nine Morrisons stores across Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, and Lancashire over the course of five days, giving shoppers the chance to pick up recipe inspiration and enjoy a few surprises along the way.
