47 Metrolink passengers have received penalty notices for travelling without a valid ticket amid a police crackdown.
Specialist officers from the GMP Transport Unit have been working alongside TfGM on the Ashton line.
An adult male was also arrested for possession of a knife in a public place and another was dealt with by means of a community resolution, after cannabis was located in a stop & search by officers.
