Whittingham Departs Hyde

Hyde United have confirmed that midfielder Sonny Whittingham has returned to Huddersfield Town.

Sonny made nine appearances and scored one goal, notching the winning goal against Gainsborough Trinity earlier this month.

The club’s fixture at Radcliffe was postponed last weekend due to a frozen pitch.

Nick Spooner’s side, who are currently second in the Northern Premier League Premier Division, will be hoping to return to action this weekend at Belper Town.

The hosts are currently rooted to the foot of the table on 14 points, having won three, drawn five and lost 13 fixtures this season.
