Wheater available to play in Stevenage clash

Oldham Athletic have successfully appealed against the red card issued to David Wheater in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Macclesfield Town.

The Latics' captain was sent off in added time during the second-half, for what referee Peter Wright adjudged to be a handball offence. However, at reviewing the incident, the FA have overturned the dismissal.

It means Wheater will be eligible to play in this evening's game at Stevenage.
