Welcome the new voice of Mossley AFC

Mossley AFC have appointed a new voice of the club.

Hels Millington has had a passion for creative arts for as long as she can remember. You can always catch her at the forefront of an event, snapping up the best photographs or promoting local bands.

She has now been able to channel this passion towards another hobby that she loves – football.

When Mossley AFC chairman Steve Porter asked if she wanted to become the new voice of Seel Park, Hels excitedly stepped up to the task.

“My role includes talking through general match day announcements as well as playing music before the game, during halftime and after the game too.

“For me this is brilliant as I’m able to share the music of some great local bands and newly signed artists,” she says.

Hels has deep roots within the Manchester music scene, working as a photographer at countless local gigs and enjoying some of the best talent in the area.

“The Manchester musical scene is buzzing at the moment, there are so many great musicians in the area, and I love to share these,” she says.

As a teacher of Arts Education, Hels has a huge passion for encouraging the next generation of creative minds and having the ability to share these minds with others is a fantastic feeling.

The football fanatic was beyond excited to begin her work at Mossley this season and continues to venture across Manchester finding the best upcoming talent.

Head on down to Seel Park to catch brilliant games of football and listen out for Hels.
