A number of our sides continue their pre-season campaign at the weekend.

Following Tuesday night's postponement at Irlam due to a waterlogged pitch, Ashton United return to action at Tadcaster Albion. The Robins last competed against Altrincham and fell to a 2-0 defeat at Hurst Cross.

Elsewhere, Mossley return to Seel Park for the first time since last season and host Pontefract Collieries. David Fish's side have endured mixed fortunes so far, winning three and losing two of their friendlies. The Lilywhites last competed at Winsford United on Monday and lost 4-1.

Curzon Ashton will be hoping to bounce back from the narrow 1-0 defeat to Salford City on Tuesday night when Stockport County visit the Tameside Stadium. Steve Cunningham's side came from a goal behind at Stalybridge Celtic last weekend to record a 2-1 victory, but were unable to follow it up four days later.
