Excitement is steadily building ahead of the Tour of Tameside, which is taking place from 29th July-1st August.

The opening race of the four day event, the X-Trail 10k, takes place in Daisy Nook and Park Bridge Country Park. If you've ever wondered what the route is like, Our head of sport, Mark Philip took part in the 2019 edition of the race and captured some of the highlights.
