WATCH: Russell Scott Headteacher Heaps Praise On Manchester United Under 18s Captain

A former Russell Scott Primary School pupil fulfilled a childhood dream last week by captaining Manchester United's Under 18s to the FA Youth Cup.

Rhys Bennett, 18, scored the opening goal in the Red Devils' 3-1 victory over Nottingham Forest in front of 67,000 people at Old Trafford.

The former Stalybridge Celtic Juniors player returned to Russell Scott the following morning and spoke to members of staff and pupils about his experience.

Headteacher Steve Marsland spoke to us and heaped praise on Rhys, describing him as a real, genuine young man.

We'll be speaking to Rhys tomorrow about the cup success and his season with the Red Devils. Keep an eye out for the video.
