WATCH: Pupils sample a taste of fencing

Ashton Fencing Club is attempting to break the stigma surrounding the sport by offering local school pupils a free taster session during the half-term break.

The session, which took place at Astley Sports Village, was funded by the Fuel 4 Fun holiday scheme.

We spoke to Barry Massey, Ashton Chairman, and Mark Storie, Astley Sports Village Director, to get their thoughts on the day's event.
