Like a phoenix from the flames, Macclesfield FC has caught the eye of the nation since its creation in October 2020.

The club is enjoying its start to life in the North West Counties Premier Division, topping the table after 23 games with 16 wins, five draws and two defeats.

Ian Cheeseman spoke to former Blackburn Rovers and Derby County midfielder, Robbie Savage, about his role as a director of the club, how the club aims to be self-sustainable, the importance of the local community in the Silkmen's potential success,  and much more.
