Despite the current circumstances amid the ongoing lockdown, community spirit is sky high in Tameside and thousands of people marked the 75th anniversary of VE Day in their own special way.

We spoke to one resident who lives on Denton Cricket Club, who is hoping the commemorations will lift the spirits across the borough and honour our fallen heroes at the same time.
