WATCH: Great Britain's Very Best Crown Green Bowlers To Face Off In Ashton On Saturday

Rayner Lane, the home of Ashton Cricket Club, is set to host a prestigious competition on Saturday morning.

32 junior crown green bowlers, regarded as the best in Great Britain, will go head-to-head to win the Junior Individual Merit title.

We spoke to Ashton Bowling Club’s Stan Adshead to get the latest information on the event.

He also praised Ashton Cricket Club's first team, who are unbeaten this season and destined to win their division, and looked ahead to the Fields Of Gold Festival, which is taking place over three days from September 2-4.
