A charity football match took place at Avro FC's Vestacare Stadium to raise funds for Alder Hey Children's Hospital.
It was hoped that the game, which was contested between an Avro FC XI and a Mercedez-Benz LSH Auto XI, would generate £1,000 in donations.
Spectators were treated to a bar and refreshments, live DJ and karaoke, a crossbar challenge and much more.
We spoke to event organiser Ian McCauley about the reasons behind the fixture.
