Tintwistle Cricketers To Stride Out For Cancer Research

Players and officials at Tintwistle Cricket Club will be donning their whites next month - but not for the reasons you might expect.

In a bid to raise money for Cancer Research, a hardy band of fundraisers will be walking from Old Trafford Cricket Ground to Speedwell, the home ground of Tintwistle, on Saturday, November 19.

Whilst the fundraisers will be plodding along to complete the 25km route, the club will be hosting a fun day of activities at the ground with bake sales amongst other things.

The walkers are scheduled to return at 4.30pm.

You can donate to the cause via the following link: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Stuart-Rose8
