Hyde United put on a powerful second-half comeback away to Nantwich on Tuesday to secure a 4-1 win in the Cheshire Senior Cup.
The Tigers started the game slow and went down after a brilliant goal from Nantwich.
They did not seem to have anything going in their favour during the first half, but things turned around massively for Hyde after half-time.
Connor Heath scored the equaliser in the 53rd minute after a brilliant finish.
Hyde kept going and producing attacks which proved to be helpful as just 13 minutes later Ayo Quadri got on the scoresheet for them.
Matt Fearnley netted a third for the team after he converted a spectacular free-kick and added another in the 89th minute to seal the win for the reigning Cheshire Cup champions.
Coach Nick Spooner said: “We said at half-time we've got to shoot more. Connor’s just had a lucky shot and it’s gone in- we've seen teams do that against us so many times.
“It’s pleasing we’re scoring from crosses- that’s what we've been working on.”
The Tigers will next play Worksop Town in the league on Saturday.
