Tigers make two new signings

Hyde United have brought in two players on loan to bolster their squad. 

Josh Doherty joins on a month's loan from National League North side Spennymoor Town, as well as Will Russ, who returns for a second loan spell from League One side Fleetwood Town With injuries to his back line Nick Spooner has moved quickly to bring in Doherty.
The 27-Year-Old Northern Irishman started his career at Ards before moving over to England for spells with Watford and Crawley, where he made over 100 EFL appearances, Colchester, Barnet and Portadown in his homeland followed before joining South Shields last summer where he won the Northern Premier Division. This summer saw him make the move to Spennymoor where he has made 10 appearances in total. Doherty has also represented his country at Youth Level winning six caps at under 21 level. 20-Year-Old Russ spent the back end of last season with the Tigers scoring five goals in his first seven games before suffering an injury. This season he has been at league rivals Marine where game time has been limited but he has still managed two goals.
