Tigers make it through in style

Current holders Hyde United made it through to the semi-final of the Cheshire Senior Cup on Tuesday with a 7-0 thrashing of North West Counties side Sandbach United.

New loan signing Brad Holmes headed in the opener just six minutes into his debut before adding another three minutes later, putting The Tigers in control early on.

Winger Harry Bunn then added a third early in the second half before their other wide man Ayo Quadri made it four just before the hour mark.

Full back Harry Ditchfield then got in on the act 20 minutes from time before Matt Fearnley tapped home soon after to make it six.

Fearnley then made it a brace seven minutes from time and put his side seven goals to the good, completing a comprehensive victory.
