The 10th anniversary of the annual local running event ‘The Tour’ saw a familiar face come out on top.
Last year’s winner David Barratt raced to victory in all four of the weekend’s races.
The Salford Harriers runner started the event with a bang, smashing the X-Trail 10k in a record time of 33:51.
He was closely followed by Vet 40 runner Tom Charles in second and Dexter Sparrow in third.
Friday’s Hell on the Fell saw Barratt race to the finish in 35 minutes and 11 seconds, with the same two competitors close behind.
Charles crossed the line in 37 minutes and 53 seconds, while Sparrow did so just 11 seconds later.
Barratt pulled away from his challengers on day three, completing the Hero Half Marathon almost six minutes quicker than Charles with a time of 1:09:32.
Saturday also saw Vet 35 runner Matthew Latham pick up his first podium of the weekend, finishing in third place.
Barratt then rounded off a superb weekend with a final day victory in the Dr Ron Hyde 7.
He blew his rivals out of the water once again with a time of 35:54, finishing more than three minutes before Charles.
Matthew Smith then sealed his first podium of the event with a third-place finish.
In the women’s section, Vet 35 runner Chloe Elliott also sealed a clean sweep of wins.
She was first over the line in the X-Trail with a time of 41:36, with Amie Bagnall and Erin Terry picking up second and third respectively.
Hell on the Fell saw the same three runners occupy the podium, with Elliott crossing the line in 44 minutes and 11 seconds.
The top two remained the same going into the Hero Half, with Vet 45 runner Jenny Fox following close behind in third.
Finally, the Hyde 7 made for an exciting finish, with Elliott crossing the line just a minute before Bagnall with a time of 44:35.
Elsewhere, Sunday saw Terry make the podium for the third time of the weekend, finishing just 19 seconds behind Bagnall.
