Tameside remembers a legend

Details for the funeral of much loved Curzon Ashton founder Harry Twamley have been released, following his passing last month.

Harry will be making his final journey to the Tameside Stadium at 10:30am on Wednesday, October 16.

A service will then be held at the Albion Church in Ashton at 11am, before guests are invited to Dukinfield Crematorium at 12pm.

Harry’s life will then be celebrated back at the Tameside Stadium from 12:30pm, where several glasses will be raised for a man who truly epitomises the word ‘legend’.
