Tameside clubs discover their Manchester Premier Cup fate

The draw for the semi-finals of the Manchester Premier Cup has been made, with two Tameside derbies potentially on the horizon.

Curzon Ashton will host eleven-time winners Mossley in the final four, in a repeat of the 2018/19 final.

The Nash have former Lilywhite Ben Darby to thank for their place in the semis, who netted a late winner in their quarter-final win over Bury earlier this month, while Mossley sealed their place with a 5-2 thrashing of Abbey Hey.

To set up another all-Tameside clash, 13-time winners Droylsden would need to see off West Didsbury & Chorlton in their quarter-final tie, with the reward being a trip to record winners Ashton United.

The Robins recently confirmed their place thanks to a narrow 2-1 win over NPL West side Wythenshawe Town.
