Tameside and Oldham net victories

Tameside Netball Club returned to winning ways on home soil at the weekend.

The Premier One squad ran out 49-44 winners against Academy at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Captain Ally Thomas was rewarded with the Player of the Match award after an impressive performance on court. 

Meanwhile, Oldham maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a 59-43 victory at West Park Blades.

The results leave Tameside second in the table on 16 points, while Oldham top the league with 20 points.
