Tadpoles triumph in Stockport gala

After successfully completing their Level 1 coaching courses, the newly qualified coaches at Glossop ASC are already having a positive impact on the swimmers.

The new coaches are: Jack Wolowacz, Rebecca Banks, Sam Higginbottom, Chloe Fletcher, Dave Simpson, Scarlett Peacock, Dominic Rothwell and Emily Higginbottom.

As part of the growing coaching team, they have helped coach the Glossop and New Mills swimmers to a record haul of medals at the recent Tadpoles Swimming Gala held at Stockport Grand Central pool.

The swimmers who took part in the Tadpoles’ gala were: Jess Schofield, Noah Rothwell, Liv Boyle, Isabelle Shaw, Grace Rothwell, Isabelle Hunt, Noriko Sykes, Alex Mirzoyan, Archie Beardmore, Lydia Garrod, Olivia Nolan, Holly Nolan and Seb Hodgson.

The haul of individual medals included: three gold, seven silver and seven bronze and in the overall competition they took one first place, one second place and five third places.

Glossop Swimming Club congratulated all the swimmers who took part.

With all the new coaches eager to show what they have learnt, Glossop ASC is happy to be able to accept new swimmers.
