Stalybridge dance group have Disney dreams

Youngsters at Tycoons Cheer and Dance in Stalybridge dream of performing in Paris, and they need your help to get there.

For the first time, one of the younger cheer teams has been given the opportunity to compete at Disneyland Paris in November. This incredible chance has come as wonderful news for the children, who have worked hard to perfect their skills.

Alongside this, exceptional hip hop and cheer teams will be preparing to compete in Florida in April 2023.

The atmosphere at Tycoons is buzzing, athletes and coaches are busy choreographing and practising their amazing routines.

Founded 15 years ago, Tycoons had grown exponentially, from one team of eight athletes to several teams in various styles and levels.

They have battled adversity on their journey, from finding a new premises after a fire burnt their home to the ground, to staying alive during the Covid pandemic.

Now, they look to take the next step in their journey, by competing at Disneyland Paris.

The club, their wonderful parents and the talented athletes are doing all they can to facilitate this trip. With the increasing costs of competition fees and travel, they are appealing for funds to help them on their adventure.
