Season Fixtures: Glosssop North End

Inconsistency proved to be Glossop’s biggest problem last season, as the Hillmen finished 17th in the NPL West.

Manager Stuart Mellish, who joined the club in the summer of 2021, has recruited new players to improve his side’s chances of a better finish. Jack Hopkins has joined from Stockport County, who has experienced non-league football with Cheadle Heath Nomads and Clitheroe. Striker Keaton Mulvey, previously of Curzon Ashton, Rochdale and Mossley, has also agreed to stay for another season. The youngster was prolific in front of goal last season and linked up well with Jamie Rainford. Unfortunately, Rainford, 34, has left the club to joined Runcorn Linnets as the assistant manager.
