After two seasons away, Hyde United fan favourite Brad Roscoe has returned to Ewen Fields.
The 29-year-old centre-half – who made 160 appearances for the Tigers during a five-year spell – rejoins for an undisclosed fee from National League North side Radcliffe.
First joining Hyde in 2019, Roscoe became a popular figure at Ewen Fields, acting as first team captain in his final two seasons with the club.
Since departing, Roscoe has made over 100 appearances for the Boro, starting all 46 league matches last season and missing just 17 minutes of football.
Having found game time harder to come by of late, the defender sought a move elsewhere, with the Tigers pouncing after his proposed switch to Southport fell through last week.
He has signed a deal that will see him remain until the end of the 2027/28 campaign, and links up with Michael Clegg’s squad ahead of Tuesday’s trip to Leek Town (September 22).
