Hyde United captain Jack Redshaw has extended his contract, keeping him at Ewen Fields until the end of the 2026/27 campaign.
Since joining in the summer of 2022 from Tameside rivals Ashton United, the 34-year-old has been an integral part of The Tigers’ squad, making 125 appearances and scoring 54 goals.
The winger helped Hyde record back-to-back 6th place finishes in his first two seasons, while also guiding the club to their first Cheshire Senior Cup win in almost three decades in 2024.
The former Morecambe and Blackpool man has made a lightning start to the 2025/26 campaign, having reached double figures for goals already, including seven in the league, one in the FA Trophy and two in the FA Cup, on Hyde’s run to the Fourth Qualifying Round.
Speaking on his extension, Redshaw commented:
“I’m really proud, really happy to be here, and I’m over the moon to sign another year extension.
“This is my fourth year, so to sign another year and take it into my fifth season at the club, I’m delighted.”
