Oldham winger leaves on loan

Oldham Athletic winger Gevaro Nepomuceno has completed a loan move to National League side Chesterfield until January 2020.

The Curacao international has made five appearances for the Latics already this season, scoring once - in their 3-2 defeat at Championship side Blackburn Rovers in the first round of the Carabao Cup.

Overall, Nepomuceno - who can also play at left-back - has featured 70 times for the Boundary Park club, netting seven times in total.

The 26-year-old fans' favourite, who signed a one-year contract extension with the League Two outfit back in May, joined the club in September 2017.

He could make his debut for Derbyshire outfit Chesterfield in Saturday's match at Sutton United.
