Oldham net fine result to stay top of the table

Oldham Netball Club and Tameside Netball Club returned to Premier One action on Sunday.

Oldham retained their position at the top of the table with a 77-55 victory against Grangetown, but Tameside were beaten 63-40 at Weston Park Blades.

The results mean Oldham lead the table by seven points, while Tameside remain fourth on 17 points.

This weekend marks the first derby of the season, with Oldham making the short trip to Manchester Metropolitan University to take on Tameside.
