Narrow defeat for the Hillmen

BetVictor South East Division: Glossop North End 0-1 Market Drayton Town

Glossop North End suffered a third home league defeat of the campaign after conceding a late goal against Market Drayton Town on Saturday afternoon.

In front of 215 fans at the Amdec Forklift Stadium, the Hillmen battled well throughout but were undone in the 84th minute when Christoph Yao-Aziamale fired home for the visitors.

The result will be particularly disappointing for Pete Band and Lloyd Morrison's side, considering their opponents are below them in the table.

Glossop sit 14th in the table with 14 points from as many games.

Meanwhile, Market Drayton moved upto 17th after recording a third win in four games.
