Mossley may have a new man in the dugout, but the nucleus of their playing squad is set to remain intact ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, with 13 senior players committing their futures to Seel Park.

The Lilywhites will go into the new season led out once again by skipper Mark Lees, who embarks on his third season with the club.

Since joining in 2023, the 36-year-old has been an integral member of the squad, amassing over 100 appearances and picking up the supporter’s Player of the Season Award in both 23/24 and 24/25.

Lees will be joined by shot stopper Fin Madigan, whose stellar performances saw him pick up last year’s player’s Player of the Season Award.

Not only was Madigan the hero in an FA Cup penalty shootout victory over Whitby, but he was also part of the rock-solid defence that kept 15 clean sheets in the league last season.

Elsewhere, last year’s manager’s Player of the Season Jack Marrow will also be sticking around.

The 22-year-old has made a real impact since joining at the start of last season, establishing himself as one of the best right backs in the division.

Mossley have also retained last season’s top goalscorer Obua Mugalula, experienced midfielder Michael Brewster, and talented winger Mason Fawns.

Vice-captain Will Shepherd and forward Reece Webb-Foster, who both endured injury hit campaigns last time out, will also be a part of Alex Craddock’s squad next season.

Completing the retentions are Gee Baltazar, Sean Kgwakgwa, Joe Berks, Adam Sherratt and last year’s manager’s Young Player of the Season, Mat Kardacz.
