Mossley manager David Fish has captured the signing of midfielder Nicky Clee ahead of the new season in the NPL West.
Clee joins from National League North side Bradford Park Avenue, where he made 39 appearances last season.
The 38-year-old has also featured for Ashton United, Altrincham and Hyde United to name a few.
Upon signing for the club, Clee told Mossley's official website: “I’m really happy to be here. Having played at a higher level as well as playing football in the Tameside area, I was looking for a family, community-based club and Mossley fits that perfectly.
“We were just short of the play-offs last year and I’m hoping the experience I bring can help us push on again. I’m looking forward to getting going and meeting the players and fans.”
Tuesday night saw Ashton United pass up on the chance to set up an all-Ashton Manchester Premier Cup Final, with Tameside neighbours Droylsden picking up a shock semi-final victory at Hurst Cross.
Following their loss at home to Real Madrid last week, knocking them out of the Champions League, Manchester City faced arguably a tougher test against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup Final on Sunday.
Local gymnast Poppy Blair has delivered an inspiring return to competition, showcasing resilience, determination and exceptional commitment after a year of significant challenges.
