Mossley have announced the return of star midfielder Bailey Marsden, who rejoins The Lilywhites following his departure from National League North side Marine.
Marsden left Seel Park at the back end of the 2024/25 campaign to pursue full-time football with King’s Lynn Town, but moved on in the following summer after limited opportunities.
The 23-year-old joined Marine at the start of this season, making 23 appearances before leaving by mutual consent after an injury hit start to 2026.
Marsden originally joined Mossley in the summer of 2021, going on to amass 100 appearances and become a fan favourite under then manager David Fish.
The former Crewe Alexandra youth player has signed a deal which will keep him at the club until the end of the 2026/27 season.
Following his signing, Lilywhites boss Alex Craddock told the Reporter:
“To get Bailey Marsden back involved is massive for the club looking forward to next season.
“Bailey is by far one of the most talented players I’ve worked with, with a great attitude and personality.
“He knows a lot of the lads already so no doubt he will fit back in without any problem, and we’re look forward to him having a massive impact next season.
“He’s had a tough year since leaving Mossley to join Kings Lynn and we’re hoping to give him the platform and support to have a successful season next year.”
