Following a terrific run of form, Curzon Ashton player-manager Craig Mahon has been named as the National League North Manager of the Month for October.

The 35-year-old guided the Nash to victories over Buxton, Scarborough Athletic and King’s Lynn Town, before going on to cap the month off perfectly with an impressive 4-0 win over Chester.

Curzon look set to record their best season yet, building on their record-breaking 2023/24 campaign where they secured a place in the National
League North play-offs for the first time in their history.

Craig Mahon’s men will have the chance to go top of the league in the coming weeks as they have two games in hand on the sides above them.

Following the announcement, Mahon took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his thoughts.

He wrote on the platform: “I’m proud and grateful for this achievement – it’s all thanks to the dedication and hard work of the players, staff, and everyone at the club.”
