LISTEN: Stayley Have High Hopes For 2023 Campaign

They entered the season with high expectations, but unfortunately the season didn't go to plan for Stayley Cricket.

However, having avoided relegation in the Greater Manchester Division One, captain Andy Gleave has recruited well for next season and assembled a promising squad.

Scott Kirwin has signed from Denton St Lawrence - a player considered to be one of the best all-rounders in the league.

We caught up with Mike Jones, who previously played for Dukinfield, who reflected on last season, looked ahead to the 2023 campaign, and praised a team mate for organising a charity game to raise money for Emily Kinsella, a young girl who is looking to head to the US to continue her fight against a nasty brain tumour.
