LISTEN: Droylsden Amateur Boxing Club donate presents to Tameside Hospital

Children who are unfortunately spending Christmas at Tameside Hospital will receive some much-needed festive cheer, thanks to Droylsden Amateur Boxing Club.

Thanks to the efforts of the local community, the gym's members and walking football players connected with Droylsden Juniors Football Club, children are set to receive a mixture of gifts, ranging from colouring books and board games, to toys and selection boxes.

We spoke to Ian Harrsion, Droylsden Boxing Club coach, who has arranged the appeal for the past few years.

In the new year, the club will also be handing out an array of food items which have been donated over the past few weeks.

We spoke to Ian about the appeal, as well as the latest updates inside the ring!
