LISTEN: Ashton CC plan ahead for 2022 season

Despite being relegated from the Greater Manchester Division2B, there were plenty of positives to take from Ashton Cricket Club's 2021 campaign.

The club had plenty of youngsters make the step-up into senior cricket, with some even sampling a taste of first team action.

After hosting the Fields of Gold music festival at the start of September, the club will be using the funds to buy new equipment and renovate the pitch amongst other things.

Ashton are also looking to recruit a player coach for the 2022 season.

We spoke to club representative Martin Frost to get the latest developments at Reyner Lane.
