Lilywhites land £10,000 bursary

Builders’ merchant Buildbase has awarded £10,000 worth of building materials to Mossley AFC.

Following the club’s application to the Buildbase Non-league Club Renovation programme, Mossley AFC, along with nine other clubs taking part in the Buildbase FA Trophy and Vase competitions, will be awarded building materials to renovate its facilities.

Martin Bull is Buildbase Procurement Director and was part of the judging panel. He said: “We had a huge response to our renovation competition this year. Mossley AFC did a fantastic job of explaining how the bursary would be used and the effect of that on the wider community as well as on their ability to run as a business. We look forward to seeing how the project plays out over the coming months.”

Buildbase has been running a programme to transform the facilities of clubs taking part in the Buildbase FA Trophy and Vase competitions since it became the title sponsor of the FA Trophy and Vase in 2016. See how our other previous bursary winners have transformed their club
