Centre half Matt Kardacz joins from fellow Northern Premier League West side, Colne.

The defender, who turns 20 next month, spent eight years in Accrington Stanley's academy, including a youth loan at Padiham at the end of the 2021/22 season.

He moved into non-League that summer with Colne, who again loaned him to their Lancastrian neighbours.

The Poland-born player is a danger from set pieces and can also deputise in midfield.

The Lilywhites have also brought in Loui Williams from Altrincham.

He spent three years in the academy at Moss Lane, before a loan spell at Colne last season, where alongside Kardacz, he helped them win the Lancashire FA Trophy.

The Middleton-based striker has impressed on trial this summer, and will make an instant return to Colne when Mossley go there in the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round on August 3.
