It's all change at Avro

Avro have strengthened their management team with the appointment of Paul Bennett as a first team coach.

Bennett has previously coached at Stalybridge, Mossley and Chadderton amongst others.

Speaking to the club's Twitter account, Bennett said:

In other news, Paul Armstrong has left his position as first team coach and will take up a role behind the scenes with the management committee. He will be working closely with Chairman Rob Fuller to develop off the field activities such as sponsorship.

Paul said: "I've enjoyed my time in the dugout helping Lee and James, but this is the right time to move upstairs as it's been difficult juggling work, family and football coaching, especially as we've climbed the league ladder. We've had fantastic success in the last few years and I'm certain that we can carry on when next season starts. I'm looking forward to the new role and helping Rob out off the field."

Vice president Malc Todd has also stepped down from his role. He played an integral part in developing the club.
