Hyde bolster squad

Hyde United have made two signings.

Brad Roscoe, a right back, joins from Buxton, whilst Alex Starcenko has extended his stay from Guiseley for a further two months.

Of the signings, manager Dave McGurk said: “Brad is a great signing for the football club. He was in the team of the year last season and he got our vote for the best right back in the league. He is young and wants to learn yet still has good experience.

“Aleks has signed an extended loan for another 2 months. He’s got better with every game and his last 2 performances have been outstanding. He is another young player and at 18 he has a big future in the game.”

Jacko Hardacre and Cyril Owolabi have left the football club, while Oran Thompson has been recalled by Huddersfield. The Tigers travel to Atherton Collieries this weekend for a fixture in the BetVictor Premier Division.
