Golfers raise money for Reuben's Retreat

Last year's captain and lady captain at Fairfield Golf Club, Stewart and Nicky Proffitt, have raised £6,150 for Reuben's Retreat.

The money will go towards helping the charity during this difficult time and will continue to support the families they are working with.

Stewart and Nicky thanked those who donated and helped to raise the substantial figure.

Reuben's Retreat is a charity that supports families bereaved of a child and families of children with a life limiting and life threatening illness.

£30 will buy a 'Care Package' for one of the 143 families Reuben's have been supporting whilst working remotely, meaning those in lockdown with a complexly ill child can receive some essential items.

If you want to fundraise for the charity, contact 01457 680023 or email fundraising@reubensretreat.org for more information and ideas.
