GNE make triple swoop

Glossop North End have further strengthened their squad ahead of the upcoming 2026/27 season with three new arrivals.

Firstly, The Hillmen have bolstered in forward areas with the arrival of Max Bardsley-Rowe (pictured).

The winger has a top CV, having won the NWCFL Premier with Macclesfield, as well as featuring in the Northern Premier League for Atherton Collieries, and will provide Lee Wilshaw’s side with some much-needed depth in wide areas.

Barsdley-Rowe wasted no time in opening his GNE account, netting twice in Saturday’s 5-0 pre-season win over Welsh side Llanuwchllyn.

Elsewhere, Glossop have also made defensive reinforcements in the form of centre back Tyrell Dawes and holding midfielder Adetomiwa Efunnuga.

The former joins following his departure from NPL Premier side Hyde United, where he made two league appearances following his signing last April.

Formerly of the Huddersfield Town academy, the 20-year-old also spent time with Step 5 side Liversedge last season.

Meanwhile, Efunnuga makes the switch to Surrey Street from Step 6 side Lutterworth Athletic, and is set to provide vital cover in front of the GNE back four.
