Glossop Take The Honours in Mike Flynn Trophy Championship

On Thursday night, Glossopdale School hosted the final of the annual Mike Flynn Trophy.

Glossop D played Chinley D in a very close match which was only decided in the very last doubles match of the night.

The two young players in the team, Ben and Frankie, pictured with their team secretary Andy, played the match of their lives, taking their opponents by surprise with the quality of their shots.

Their club, Glossop Table Tennis Club, run coaching sessions every Saturday afternoon, between 2-4pm, at Glossopdale school.
